Traffic Light Tracking

How do you track your student’s work? This is a resource to help you with your tracking. I have used this traffic light system to track students progression. It is a simple yet effective method. You can use Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or basically any other spreadsheet for this traffic light system. Try it out with your students and comment below how you found this method of working. I usually display the spread sheet in front of the whole class when addressing them. This gives students a clear indication on how much work they have completed and how much work is left to complete. This is a single sheet to use as a reference guide.

GCSE Media Quiz Representation

This quiz is about representation in the media. The quiz has 20 key questions to test your students knowledge on the subject. This quiz can also be a fun way to learn about representation in the media and prepare students for their media exam. The quiz can either be a individual activity such as a written task or a whole class quiz. This quiz can be a part of formative or summative assessment. By the end of this quiz, students will have a better understanding of representation in the media. They will understand gender roles, stereotypes and how certain groups are portrayed. Media is everywhere and it is important to understand the context of a media text, now more than ever. Especially, with young people on social media platforms and consuming content at lightning speed. Have fun and please leave a review.
